Dr. Michel Gherman
Michel Gherman is Graduated in History at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2000), has Master degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2007) and holds a Ph.D. in Social History from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2014). Michel is currently a Researcher at Ben-Gurion Research Institute for the Study of Israel and Zionism and is adjunct professor in the Department of Sociology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. In addition, Michel Gherman is coordinator of the NIEJ (Interdisciplinary Center for Jewish Studies) at the Institute of History of Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and guest researcher at the Center of Judaism Studies at University of São Paulo. Michel is also academic director of the Instituto Brasil-Israel.
