Chiara Solazzo is a PhD candidate in Religious Studies at the University of Modena-Reggio Emilia (Italy). She is carrying out her research at the Fondazione per le Scienze Religiose Giovanni XXIII in Bologna. In her thesis she examines the the State of Israel and the Holy See during the last decade of the Pontificate of Pius XII (1948-1958). She is currently studying Modern Hebrew at the Rothberg International School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
