Adi Armon

Dr. Adi Armon's was a Research Fellow at Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Antisemitism. Armon received his Ph.D. from The Department of Political Science at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.His research is interdisciplinary, combining Jewish history and modern European history.

His areas of expertise are cultural history and intellectual history of the 19th and 20th centuri es with a special focus on Jewish nationalism from 19th century Europe to the contemporary State of Israel. He's currently working on a new book project— “The Outsider: Benzion Netanyahu and the Politics of Resentment”—on the Jewish and European political, cultural and intellectual origins of Israel’s right-wing ideologies. This is the first in-depth study of the historian and neo-conservative thinker Benzion Netanyahu (1910-2012), father of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
