Dr. Anat Vaturi is 2017 Felix Posen Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Vidal Sasson International Center for the Study of Antisemitism at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and a research assistant in economic history at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzlia. In 2015-2017, she was a teaching postdoctoral fellow at the Departments of Jewish History and General History at the University of Haifa.  She received her Ph.D. from Tel Aviv University, based on a dissertation titled 'Toleration in Poland Re-Examined: Jews and Protestants in Cracow after the Reformation'. She specializes in early modern Polish-Jewish history. Anat's research interests include religious toleration and interreligious coexistence in Old Poland, interplay of law and religion, as well as economic history of East-European Jews in early modern period. Her current project examines Jewish responses to Catholic violence in Post-Reformation Cracow.
